Focus Groups
We have the following Ministries/Focus Groups in KTF:
1. Children’s Ministry (Kids Club)
Purpose: To provide children with the opportunity to worship in an age-appropriate setting, learning at their level of understanding, participating in worship and to help meet their physical needs such as food nutrition, clothing s and education
Description: KTF kids club is a congregation just for children. It happens over the weekends mainly on Saturday’s but intermediately based on a schedule of events and availability of meeting grounds. It varies from once a month to twice a month. It is attended by children ages 5-12years.
The KTF kids club incorporate all the elements of regular worship (spiritual nurture) such as praise, prayer, studying the Word, a children’s sermon, and drama, games or skits that apply the Word to everyday life.
Unique features: Children are given opportunities to participate in worship and to understand the elements of worship, life skills development and giving back to the community i.e. participate in community clean ups
2. Teenagers Ministry (Teens Challenge)
Purpose: To help teenagers identify who they are, to understand their value though cultivating a relationship with Christ and then with others through acts of godly service. (community service)
We provide a center based around the Word of God., where teens in our community come together to be encouraged and inspired to live for God. We’re not content for our teens to grow up just to be good people only but be godly people who are Godly influencers to their generation
We also help meet their physical needs such provision of sanitary pads (helps keep the poor young girls to school) education fees, clothing and their talents development
Description: KTF Teens challenge is a congregation just for teenagers that happens over the weekends mainly on Saturday’s but intermediately based on a schedule of events and availability of meeting grounds. It happens twice a month. It is attended by teenagers aged between 13-17 years.
The KTF Teens challenge incorporates all the elements of regular worship (spiritual nourishment) such as praise and worship, prayer, studying the Word, a teen’s sermon, and drama, games or skits that apply the Word to their everyday life.
Unique features: The teenagers are given opportunities to participate in worship and to understand the elements of worship, life skills development, volunteer on these events and participate in community clean ups





3. Youth Ministry (Young Adults)
Purpose: inspiring youth to walk with Christ, to connect, engage, and support all youth and their families while growing with Christ. We seek to give our youth courage to live the Word in their daily living and not just a mental knowledge of the Word. Our four focus areas are: Education, mentor ship, Ministry, Mission/Outreach, talent development, Fellowship/Recreation and community development
Description: KTF youth fellowship is a congregation just for young adults that happens over the weekends mainly on Sundays based on a schedule of events and availability of meeting grounds. It happens every Sunday afternoon between 4pm-6pm and is attended by young adults aged 18years and above, comprising mainly pre and post college /university students, young single mothers and young professionals
Unique features: It’s objectives are:
- Prepare youth for a lifelong walk with God
- Show the correct behavioral model will result in positive actions
- Offer youth group activities that are safe, physically, mentally, and sexually,
- Ensure that each member of our youth group receives the foundation and motivation necessary to live a Christ like life, give them the opportunity to become leaders
- Train, educate, prepare, and equip our youth through our youth ministry.
- Reach, and invite unsaved youth in the community to the fellowship
- Provide financial assistance, support and aid for them to be able to participate in various sustainable activities.
4. Families Ministry (Fellowship)
Purpose: to provide a place where God is displayed to a lost and dying world and where hope and healing meet in families right in the community
We desire to build bridges that will heal divisions among families, social classes and the community at large. We are called to radically impact our community, Ongata Rongai and the surrounding areas, the county of Kajiado, nation (Kenya)and the world.
Description: KTF families fellowship is a congregation just for families that happens over the weekends mainly on Saturdays based on a schedule of events and availability of meeting grounds. It happens once every month between 3pm-5pm and is attended mainly by families who, comprise married couples, the elderly, widows, widowers and single parents
Unique features: KTF families focus have a wide range of programmes ranging from weekly home cells fellowships, literacy programmes, community development initiatives and social economic programs. All these projects are linked to the primary goal of empowering and transforming lives for posterity sake.
